Festivals and Music events

DATevents have a long standing history of producing outdoor music events and festivals. We can provide a range of services for any size of event. As with all of our work we bring a keen eye for detail and a focus on the audience experience. Below is a selection of previous events we have worked on.

SHINDIG

We have been working with legendary club night SHINDIG since 2013 on their larger outdoor events. Our services include production/operations management, creative design, technical design, safety management and providing a range of staff to support the delivery of the event. Working with Shindig we have helped bring some of the biggest names in dance music to the North East.

WALLACE AND GROMIT'S MUSICAL MARVELS

In 2012 DAT worked with BBC Worldwide, Aardman animation and the Proms on a family prom based on Wallace and Gromit. We provided technical design and stage management for the show which at the time was the most technically complex Prom ever staged. Following the Proms presentation DAT were asked to help develop the show to tour and subsequently managed a number of presentations and tours around the UK and Europe.

LIVE FROM TIMES SQUARE

Live from times square is an inner city music festival promoted by SSD Music. The festival is spread across 2 weekends and sees a range of bands play to a capacity audience of 5000 people. We provide production and site management for the concerts as well as acting as the event safety advisors.

BT RIVER OF MUSIC

BT River of Music was a large music festival organised by Serious as part of the Olympic cultural program. The event saw a band or performer from event country taking part in the Olympics take to one of 6 stages across London. We were part of the original development team for the project helping write the feasibility and proposal with Serious, then delivered the stage at Greenwich royal naval college for the event.
